I’d think they’re more repulsed by what that “man” does; in any case some gay men aren’t feminine at all. I never understood why some gay men would want a “feminine” gay man; why wouldn’t they simply date a woman instead of a man pretending to be one? There’s no junk getting in the way...

This is exactly what I am describing. When the thinking is at odds with the subconscious emotional energy a person is experiencing. These same energies create phobias and PTSD which is far from logical and creates havoc in a person’s life when they appear.
There are often greater dynamics at work than can be viewed on the surface. However, allow me to add, there is usually a reason for just about all perceptions and actions, its just that the event where we formulated the perception is often hidden from us.
