They will probably start a Freepy Funnies with it.

Boy have you got that right, Alex.

The Illuminati-conspiracy-to-enthrone-Romeny talk has gotten just insane in the last few weeks.

I would not be surprised if in those cities which have the most Freepers, the grocery stores can't keep tinfoil in stock.

This place is increasingly not the FR which I joined. I'm not at the opus point yet, but I'm starting to contemplate it.

The pro Newt Ideology doesn't allow rational thought. An honest look at both Romney and Gingrich should leave people wondering why they're even arguing over this crap or supporting either man.

Mitt is big government socialized medicine and Newt is big government socialized green energy.

Gingrich’s list of energy policies includes providing incentives for flex fuel vehicles that can use corn-based ethanol rather than gasoline — a key issue for Iowa’s farm economy.

Newt Gingrich proposes abolishing EPA (and replacing it with another federal agency)

He talks a good line of bull but he's hardly the small government conservative he proclaims himself to be.

Rush has been far from kind to Romney in this cycle. He has never over meddled in primaries, but throughout has spent much more time on the candidates with commitments to conservatism and inferred many problems with Romney. When it gets down to Romney’s surprise win in Iowa and the subsequent attacks on Romney’s business experience, Rush has really sharpened attacks on the other candidates because it is extremely uncomfortable watching our side take a decidedly leftward turn in rhetoric attacking private businesses for job cutting. Job cutting is a necessary part of saving a failing company. The left acts like one company cutting jobs is a travesty, but in the macro, these events are what allow for an overall strong economy and job environment. It is very disconcerting to observe Newt and Perry take this route. Rush has every right to criticize, especially when Romney’s record in politics is where the problems lie. South Carolina voters would turn against Romney in 1 second if the focus is on his MA record.

As for Rush, his business is completely independent of Clear Channel and Premier networks. He doesn’t work for them. They pay him. Rush set up his business so he answers to no one and now uses their services as distribution. They need him more than he needs them. His services are quite desirable to Clear Channel competitors, too.

The radiation from the nuke plant is effecting your reasoning, have you forgotten where you left your car keys recently?

Or in the land of the rising sun, your train pass and bike chain key?

Bain, Clear Channel need Rush, not the other way around.

Some of you need to take you tin foil hats off and put down the Kool Aid.

Clear Channel AND Bain make $$$ off from Rush's HUGE audience and Rush makes $$$ FROM ADVERTISEMENTS, and anyone who for one moment believes that Bain or Clear Channel has ANY control over the show's content or Rush himself, has just landed from Mars (or Venus if a female) and have NOT listened to Rush like some of us have for 20 + years.

Get a grip already and chill, especially all you Rush haters, Paul-Bots and Mittens supporters who are grasping at straws.

“Oh, yeah, and pick the Broncos, “Trust me.””

He was so wrong all week, and with that closing on Friday, he batted a thousand.

Btw, been listening to Rush since 89 and have bought almost all of his books.

That means you bought one book, since he's only written two books.

Which book did you buy or are you just funnin' us?

I know you for a troll who hasn't bothered to read anything on Rush's webpage except headlines (but then we have already established they your reading skills are less than reliable) and who hasn't a clue as to what Rush has been saying during this primary season.

As for "intelligent argument," when you make one worthy of response, I will give you one. So far all you have done is prove your lack of knowledge of Rush and the fact that your reading skills are weak.

Amen! Gingrich stepped in it himself by slamming his opponent for something done in the “free market”.

I don’t like Romney as a candidate, but will vote for him if necessary. What choice do we have at this point? In four years, with the Executive Order at his fingertips, this country could very well be Greece-West.

He's a troll, "Mar 7, 2011." He's just trying to stir things up. Probably came over from DU or dKos.

One thing that is patently obvious from his assertions about what Rush has been saying; he hasn't been listening to Rush. Probably just visited his webpage and read the headlines--if that.

OMG - I can’t believe this idiotic theory came back up. Looks like a number of well informed and rational folks jumped in and brought some sanity back to it.

The real sad part, aside from the willingness to don the tin foil and the total lack of understanding of how talk radio works as a business - is the fact that on balance, Rush has been very anti - Romney over the entire process.

Anti-Newt = disagreed with Newt on any point.
pro-Romney = hasn’t called Romney a baby-killer ever!
FR = land of the conspiracy theory

“He hasn’t even come close to attacking Newt, Perry, or Santorum”

You’re right about that. The same with Levin. How could he possibly savage Perry when Perry is the man who isn’t there? Really. Haven’t you heard Rush and Levin go through days and weeks of discussing the whole list of candidates and not mention Perry? Mention Huntsman but not Perry? Rush knows what a great leader and public speaker Perry is. He’s engaging and humorous. He’s always liked him. Why did he dedicate nearly three hours for ten days to Herman Cain who was implying it was the Perry camp who revealed his 13 year friendship with a woman he was giving money to? It was Perry’s fault Herman Cain did that. Why did Rush sink to that? Why the cold shoulder toward Perry? Why no questions as to what could have happened to Perry? Rush knows pain. He knows what pain medication does to you. Why didn’t he say something instead of implying that Perry (not by name) sounded dumb? It was clear to me that Rush was, by omission, helping to eliminate Perry. I don’t hate Rush. I don’t think he’s going to hang around much longer but I don’t mind if he says something positive about Mitt or anyone. People can stop the tinfoil hat crap. Many of us are loyalist but angry. Rush has taken a lead. Why can’t we ask questions? Those of us who listen daily are stunned by his recent joining with much lower level talk banter. He mimics other hosts who can’t shine his shoes. I’m waiting for him to bring out the “cuckcoo noisemaker” to make it official that he’s on board with eliminating the process. We expect more of him. My objective feeling is total disappointment. I simply wanted to hear everyone who had the courage to run.

Sentimental attachment to Rush does not change the iron logic of Manning’s point. Bain own’s Clear Channel and Rush did equate Gingrich’s attack on Bain to an attack on capitalism.

Now that Rush has been busted, he is backtracking.

“Rush doesn’t hate Romney, he defends, protects, and promots him everday on his show and his website.”

Got some proof of that ?
