With hunting season underway, the Rick Santorum campaign will unroll a new variation on his signature fashion item, the sweater vest. Supporters will soon be able to buy Santorum hunting vests in bright orange that proclaim the right to bare arms, Mr. Santorum said at a campaign stop in Rock Hill, S.C., on Friday.

The Republican presidential candidate said his website has already sold close to 1,000 sweater vests in the past two days. They come in gray, but were getting blue, he advised a crowd of several hundred supporters. Also available: buttons that urge voters to rock the vest. ...

And now he's even criticizing Myth Romney for us.
I like this new Santorum.
The vests are growing on folks. Now he needs to come up with one that has a boob belt attached. LOL
Any politician that can poke fun of himself gains a few points with me.
I’ve got glasses myself. Can’t do a thing without ‘em. :)
Well I was going to respond with a photo of George McFly from Back to the Future, but Wiki doesn’t identify the photo as public domain so I won’t post it.
Though Santorum does seem to be a bit George McFly.
Not a bad thing, in a politician, who stands for American traditions.
Our dogs all wear orange vests when it’s the hunting season. Wouldn’t go out without them, especially since two of the dogs are almost deer colored.
And there are orange vests all over the place. And I have an orange baseball cap I take out in the fall.
Only a media maven would find this unusual.
A variation of making money on the campaign trail. When the campaign is over he can always do a Mr. Roger's style television show.
(oof)
OK that’s pretty funny.
I personally like them “Georgia Tuxedos” the bestes:
