Who else got pwned by tonight's online Jeopardy test?

Too much literature, too much art. Lucky if I got 25/50

Anybody remember the questions that gave them trouble?

TOPICS: Chit/Chat; TV/Movies

Looks like an epic fail again

How did you take the test before it starts?

It started already for the Eastern Time zone tonight. I think the other Timezones are tomorrow and Thursday, but those are probably different test.

... I avoided starting a topic, but a video of one of last night’s responses went viral. Seems the wrong response is a lurid / vulgar term. And Jeopardy! had to air it. (?) It had to do with a type of “animal” punch.

Donkey punch is vulgar?

I actually thought I did pretty well, although there were a handful of questions for which I KNEW the answer and just couldn’t move it from the back of my mind to my fingers. Like...PORTOBELLO. Sheesh.

I got 26/50, so about what I expected.

Did you get a transcript yet of the answers? They posted one on one of the Jeopardy forum boards.

Last Q made me mad. 15 seconds isn’t a long time to think. Messed up and typed Extra Credit Rewards instead of Extra Credit Card. At least I got the Dingo Lingo.

Never heard of Sparks (NC Author) and Moore (Sculputre) or Muslin Sidings. Got Lear, Insulin, and Rembrandt though which is outside my normal knowledge expertise. Oh well, there’s always next year.

I recall from a previous Jeopardy test that it seemed to me to have a wildly disproportionate number of 1800-ish literature questions.

The show did a special on the military when I was stationed in Berlin. I usually did very well during the show so was looking forward to taking the test when they came to Berlin looking for contestants.

Test was much harder that I expected with a lot of art history I knew little about.

At least I got a pencil out of the deal :-)
