I'm a bit familar with cancer as my mom battled breast cancer for seven years. She lost the battle in 1979. At that time she received treatments at Misercordia Hospital in Philadelphia. Her doctor was Isaac Djerassi. He helped develop centrifuge and filtration techniques for platelet and white-cell transfusions to support aggressive cancer chemotherapy.
I'm sure there has been great medical progress since then.

I’m currently undergoing chemo treatments for bladder cancer - stage two.
In the coming months I will undergo surgery to remove the bladder and prostate.
Looking forward to being cancer-free.

I still have three very small, slow growing tumors in my hiop bones, which they hope to treat with stereotactical proton radiation eithe in March or September.
But the main, dangerous malignant tumor is gone...along with my entire sacrum.
The nerve damage required to accomplish that impacted my bowel and bladder capabilities...so when you get there, and if you are having a difficult time with that, please FRemail me and I will be happy to help, give pointers, encouragement, and add and exercise faith on your behlaf.

Thank you for your prayers lysie, and hope the info about MD Anderson helpes. It’s a long ways from New York (about as far as from Idaho), but it was well worth it.
