I think you could probably figure $300 or more. The antenna that I did recently had an existing mast and antenna. I converted the existing 300 ohm line to 75 ohm coax and bought a $60 analog to digital converter from Radio Shack and also bought RG-6 coax and fittings, mast standoffs, etc. You can buy an antenna for probably $100 and a rotor for $70 maybe and an amp for $50

Excellent information; thanks so much.

My son is in excellent shape, so the physical work should not be a problem.

Even if the cost goes $400....with cable at $100/mo, that's a 4 month payback...good in anyone's book!
