The Contract with America DID get followed through on. The idea was to get a vote on all those issues within 100 days (I think it was 100 days.)

Those votes took place.

The crucial ones won and went forward. That is why there was welfare reform, tax cuts, paid down debt, and balanced budgets.

Exactly! Unfortunately for those trying to re-write history, some of us were paying CLOSE attention to what was going on back then, and we KNOW what the real score is.
