I think we are seeing the life going out of Coulter and all that is left is the verbal weapons she honed over these years. Like many women she centered her life on her career and is coming into her 50s empty of love and meaning with no way to turn back the clock. She is turning to the dark side and becoming a liberal zombie.

BTW - Although I can’t get mad, per se, for Coulter chosing Romney (she is wrong of course). However, she was COMPLETELY out of line in likening South Carolina voters for Newt as a “Mob.” That is just going too far.
She should publically apologize for that.

She talked a mile a minute and sounded irrational and shrill. A real harpy.
In the old John Wayne movies, she was like the hysterical woman who has to be smacked to calm her down before the big Indian attack.
She asid Romney was the most conservative and Newt the most of liberal of the candidates we have left.
She also said that Newt just plays to the audience—tells them whatever they want to hear.

Newt is driving the establishment GOP insane. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Us plebes were supposed to roll over, take orders and vote for Mitt. Its just not fair and they are fighting mad. Its just not fair.
Not sure how Coulter could be considered supportive of The Establishment, when she’s always been pretty consistently against most of its representatives.
