You’re missing out on some very good films.

I’m surprised Sarah Jessica Parker wasn’t nominated for her lead role in ‘War Horse’...lol

She just got a nomination last year for Secretariat .... probably too much overlap in the roles.

I have seen Moneyball, Midnight in Paris and The Help. My nod is a tie between the first two.

HUGO was good....

MONEYBALL was good, although the book is much much better.

THE TREE OF LIFE was visually great, and pretty ambitious. Yes it had Sean Penn in it, but I don't think he had a word of dialogue other than some voice-over.

As for the rest haven't seen any of them.

Just watched that last night BATTLE: LOS ANGELES.... it was really good! Played it straightforward with no irony or postmodern BS. I'll definitely watch it again. Wasn't she in AVATAR too?

For years I’ve been tediously inserting html line break codes in those situations. Thank you!

Bridesmaids got snubbed for Best Picture. Figures. Few expected it to get a nod. Shame, really. Hollywood's job is to entertain us and the films that do this should get recognized. Bridesmaids was one of the biggest surprise hits of the year.

Wow! Talk about a dark horse. I don't think any of the Oscar prognosticators saw this one coming.

If this is truly the best Hollywood had to offer in 2011, then Hollywood is finished.

Melissa McCarthy, Bridesmaids as Best Supporting Actress??? Seriously? She was funny, as was the picture, but no more so than Tom Hanks in Bachelor Party, or Sean Penn in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and I don't think the Academy put them up for awards for those roles.

And the script gets a nod too? Bridesmaids is a funny movie, but Oscar-worthy? Is it just because of the female angle? I don’t get it.

Best ORIGINAL Screenplay for Bridesmaids??????? I didn't see that!

It was The Hangover with girls. What the heck was original about THAT?

Just pick the one with the most liberal message and you will win 90% of the time.

LOL. She should have got the nod for running so fast or was that a stunt woman?
