I'm not really sure. The Slant 6 had it's day as an economy engine, but no one’s heart will flutter thinking about it. Wouldn't you rather have a 340?
The slant six just ran forever. I remember one morning that was so cold the only car that started was my Plymouth Scamp; ran like a champ, no problem.
