Try buying the pepper plants online.
I’ve had great success that way and you can get any ones you want for around $3 a piece.
I actually tried that two years ago and what I was sold ended up being Red Caribbean Habaneros instead of the Bhut Jolokia I ordered. I found this out when they matured and the peppers didn't look right.
If this batch doesn't germinate, I may try that again too.
