You do know that it was pointed out that those polls you are referring to were entirely democrats polled, right?

Just curious. How was it determined that it was entirely democrats polled as you say was pointed out? Do you have link to the polling data, cross tabs, etc.? I’ve looked a little bit but haven’t found them. Thanks for any info you may know of.

I do not have it. It was posted on facebook and twitter earlier in Jan when the poll articles came out.

I went back and checked some of the TX newspapers that paid for the poll (which was done by a company in New York) but it is very vague and does not give a link to specifics.

here is what Dallas Morning News gave and a link to the original article http://www.dallasnews.com/news/politics/perry-watch/headlines/20120125-perrys-job-approval-plunges-after-failed-presidential-run-news-poll-shows.ece

“806 adult Texans. Some undecided responses are not included. Margin of error is 3.5 percentage points, meaning results can vary by that much in either direction.

ABOUT THE POLL

Blum & Weprin Associates Inc. of New York conducted the random telephone survey Saturday through Tuesday of 806 adults, including 669 registered voters

So based on the above - 17% were not registered voters.

But all of the articles state that his approval lost ground among Republicans — from 73 to 60 percent over the past year.

(60% approval amoung TX Republicans is still not bad for a 3 term Governor)
