That same storm is bringing much needed rain to central Oklahoma. I am 64 years old and this is the mildest winter I have ever seen in Oklahoma.

This will be one of those storms where I get to call my flatlander friends and laugh. We might get an inch or two here at 7,700 feet in Grand Co.

"Don't BBQ in the house"
I actually laughed, I know people do stupid stuff, but I got that mental image of the Flintstone spit and huge carcass over a fire in the living room. Stay warm FRiends. Stay safe.

The forecast start time has been slipped. The radio says 5:00 but weather.com makes it look like the heavy stuff won’t start until around 9:00 or 10:00.

No snow yet where I'm at in Central Denver. Temp is dropping and when I was out earlier it felt as if the wind was driving hard to the south - which to me meant it was coming in from the East and hitting mountains and turning south. I think it's going to be big - but not until after rush hour.
Thanks for the thread and you're right it SMELLS like snow.
Regards,
TS

I work from the home so my commute will be easy tomorrow. Down the stairs to the office. I may not wear pants either. Wind is up and air temp down to 39...I am excited beyond all reality for this storm. I just love being HOME with the fire and a nice drink, LASAGNA for dinner and watching the weather.

Maybe it will make it to Indy for the weekend! I'd love it! What a crummy place for a Super Bowl.

1900h Mountain Time: Snow now falling. Hot chocolate being prepared. We are going to sit outside on the front porch and watch the snow and drink hot chocolate with Bailey’s...Mmmm Mmmmm
The wonders of nature. Can you imagine some stone age folks sitting around in the cold and all of a sudden stuff starts falling from the sky, during a lunar eclipse and earthquakes going on?

Steady snow now, grass covered and roads wet. Not too windy.
The hot chocolate on the porch was great.
Stay warm!
