I am SO Tired of Hearing What's Wrong With Our Guys
ML/NJ

I am so tired of hearing what's wrong with our guys. Romney's a RINO. Newt slept with Nancy, and a bunch of others I guess. Santorum has no support. Paul is wacko. Cain was too black, so he had to be destroyed I guess. Palin is a supposed idiot, or she doesn't want to run.

It's all so boring and depressing that I barely listen to Rush any more. I don't care whether he endorses someone, or not.

The country is still going to hell in a handbasket. The usurping communist is still in the White House. Reid is still the Senate Majority Leader. Pelosi even gets more attention from the MSM than Boehner does. Moochelle is still getting fancy chocolates overnighted to wherever she goes.

Please! Let's get back to stressing whatever is good about our people, or not saying anything at all about them. Bickering and negativism just serve to increase Obama's popularity. He DESERVES to be the target.

I think nearly all of us agree that the A-Team decided not to enter the race this election for some reason. And that both Newt and Romney, (both with flaws aplenty) were on none of our list of favorites in the spring of 2011 when there were so many other hopefuls. Cain and Perry offered a little excitement for a short time, but they were clearly not ready for prime time.

But we got what we got. Not much different really than at this time in 2008 when it was down to Romney, Huckabee or McCain. A trifecta of flaws.
The saving grace of 2008 was the introduction to the Party, one great lady, Sarah Palin. I have never seen a candidate able to unite a broken party so quickly like she did with her convention speech. Lets hope and pray there is another such choice by our nominee. A VEEP that will get us all excited again about November.

It’s the nature of Power. It is dirty and nasty, cruel and mean. There is no other way to get power in a world filled with evil. If you really want to get depressed-—read what happened in Machiavelli’s age.....things were really worse then and many of the people couldn’t even read and had no way to express themselves.

We do have an advantage===and with the internet it has mushroomed like the elites were afraid of-—secrets get out now.......but the elites will NEVER give up power without a nasty deadly fight. That’s politics.

You have to shut out all the white noise. Too much information today. Turn off the TV and don’t read any newspapers. Be very selective and read history and philosophy-—and you will realize that nothing has really changed. Some of the best ideas in history were thought up thousands of years ago.

The Nature of Man does not change....and Marx was very wrong. But there are those who want total control of the world and man.

You have correctly identified the ‘real’ object of the exercise as removing the incumbent.

Getting there, however, requires a serious investment in ‘retail politics’ which seems to expose your tender sensibilities to various unpleasantness and unhappiness with the messiness of the process.

Man up, Dude ! Welcome to the ‘real world’ ...

‘Our guys’, as you so casually labelled ‘em, had better be able to ‘stand and deliver’ in the very messy process you so decry — what do you suppose they’re going to get from from the Donks come September and beyond ?

You can’t seriously expect they deserve some kid-gloves treatment from us or whoever — ‘If you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all !’ — and then expect ‘em to survive the kind of campaign the Donks will deliver.

Keep your eye on the prize — Dump Hussein Obama ! It may not be pretty but it’s the only system we’ve got to get the job done.

Complaining that FR somehow looks and sounds too much like ‘retail politics’ and that we should somehow ‘cool it’ and make nice is a remarkably lame political ‘strategery’ and / or point of view.

Y’all are echoing how I feel today: depressed.
I am not encouraged or hopeful and the music from Jaws is playing in my head. The GOP-E is so stupid. They actually think Romnuts is going to be able to beat The Kenyan.

We are so much more informed here. That’s why it’s scary to read your like minded comments and hear your thoughts.
Those of you wise ones who say that we just need to be happy and live our lives in spite of the dire prospects for ‘12 are right.

I’m trying to plan a strategy though. Will I work on state and local efforts? Like you, I have tired of media pundits. And the talk show hosts are just plain boring and most of them don’t get it or are on the wrong side of reason.

I’m stickin’ with Levin, deleted Drudge and have turned off Faux.
Anyone else have a plan that you want to share?

The sad thing is that my 30 something children and grandchildren are going to have to deal with the repercussions of another four years of the systematic destruction of our country, if Bam is reelected. And if I try to talk to them about this, they just look at me. They are so busy with the daily goings on in their own lives.. oblivious to what’s in store for them down the road.

Some day,we can say we tried to do our part.
And we can tell them how America used to be. SIGH.

If Obama is reelected I will add you to the list of those I blame. If you are going to do what you say, be man enough to take responsibility. When Obama takes the inaugural stage in 2013, you should enjoy it. Like Pvt Pyle and his donut.

Dude, they all suck. The GOP died when Reagan left office. The two Bushes buried it.

Reagan was an anomaly -- a real Conservative who truly believed that big government is inherently evil.

Before and after Reagan, the Republican Presidents believed in government as a "positive good."

There is nothing wrong with ranting against the Statists that infest the GOP and MSM. It's fun and stress relieving!

At this point I would vote for the son of sam over Obama if forced to. This last week did it for me. I don’t like Romney, but it’s hot about him, it’s about getting that communist usurprer and tyrant out of office.

"If Obama is reelected I will add you to the list of those I blame."

Au contraire, mon ami.

I will NOT be spoon fed RINO after RINO, and vote for them, as the sheep do who MUST vote for whomever they are told they have as the "Chosen One".

I'll decide who best represents the most VALUE; NOT THE RNC!

I too will never vote for Mitt. You do realize that if by some chance Mitt was elected that nothing would change?

Mitt would do absolutely nothing to turn our Republic towards Liberty.

With Mitt or Obama, the end result is exactly the same -- although at a different time frame.

Voting for the equal of evils is evil.

The two Bushes buried it.

I'm no fan of either, but one gave us Thomas and the other gave us Alito. It should be something to keep in mind when pretending there's no difference between even anointed Republicans and the Democrat Slime.

Then be a stand up guy and vote for Obama if Romney is the GOP nominee. I would respect you more if you did. Don’t weasel out with third parties and write ins. Go the full Monty.

What I mean is someone who will at least pander to us, and is an American.

No thanks.

Romney is not just a RINO. He is Obama

Oh, please. Please don't make me defend Romney.

But it's just absurd to suggest that Romney and Obama are cut from the same cloth. Can you name any friends of Romney who are communists or criminals? Can you name any Obama friends who are not? Romney and I have, I think, very different political visions for America. But at least I believe that in his heart he is an American. It's a big enough difference for me that if that's the only choice I have, then it's going to be the choice I make.

I think we here on FR still do our share of examining Obama and his ilk. My message was really directed to Rush. I don't know how else to say it. But he directs quite a bit of the debate, and these days he's directing it in the wrong direction.

To suggest it is somehow unwholesome, inappropriate or simply ‘bad form’ to criticize them is remarkably obtuse, at the very least.

You make it sound like these candidates have just been "criticized" instead of torn down. We're all open to information about the candidates good or bad but name-calling, rumor-mongering, and toxic rhetoric is not a great strategy.

I too am worried about our country. I'd be about as worried if the nominee is Romney as I would be about Obama but time's running out to pump life into these campaigns. Let's start spreading the word about our candidates and how they can reverse the damage. The people want to rebuild America. They want jobs, growth, and the best healthcare in the world. Basically what they had before Obama.

Agree. We need to get this nomination process behind and then get behind whomever is it because our future, your kids future and your grand kids future depends on it. All of us need to stay focused on the task at hand: beating 0bama in November.

I don’t like myth one bit, but I am resigned to the fact my choice is not going to be the pick. y top two are Ron Paul and Sarah. Neither are going to win, but it’s not about sour grapes for me, it’s about ousting the usurper and holder, geithner, napolitano, chu, Jackson, la hood, the czars, etc
