Endless lists have been made, and it's a great way to start an argument at a party. What's better, 'Chinatown' or 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'? 'The Wizard of Oz' or 'Singin' in the Rain'? Everyone's picks are different, but for their new book 'The Greatest Movies Ever,' film critics Gail Kinn and Jim Piazza selected their choices for the best 101 movies of all time. First published in 2008, this edition of the book is revised with new picks like 'Slumdog Millionaire.' Here's a sampler -- the 50 films that got the top spots on Kinn and Piazza's list.

I don’t trust ANY top 50 movies list that misses both “Smokey and the Bandit” and “Star Wars”. Pffffffffffft.
John Wayne in The Cowboys is the best of his movies I've seen. The supporting cast is also great, every one of them.
I haven't seen Red River, so now I have a new movie to check out on YouTube. Thanks for the heads up on that one Granny.
Ok, but I always wonder what became of poor Geselina (played by Fellini's wife). She should lose the trumpet and get a makeover. This is one of the movies I love to watch over and over again.
Red River is a really old one, black and white. But worth it, every now and then it appears on Turner Classic’s.
