Lunch Scholars - Youtube (Public School idiots)
Youtube ^

A video created by two Olympia WA High School journalism students intended as a comedy sketch turned into a bigger lesson in the failure of the public school system than they bargained for.

In the vein of Jay Leno’s “Jay Walking” sketch series they asked fellow students basic questions about history, geography and current events.

TOPICS: Education
KEYWORDS: homeschoolingisgood; publicschool
Granted they edited out kids that gave the correct answers, just like Jay Leno does. But in Olympia , the NW breeding grown for lefties, anarchist, occupiers and eco-terrorist, finding idiots for your video is just to easy.

Some of this stuff I just don’t buy. Even on Leno. I think it’s just people trying to be “cute”. Yeah, some of them don’t know anything, but others, nah.

You can’t teach people who have no interest in knowledge.

I’ve seen this even with people who have advanced college degrees.

Six months without electricity and enforcement of compulsive school attendance would work miracles.

My kid bragged to his high school teacher that his Dad (me) had invented a new way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere of the Space Station. His teacher seemed puzzled, “Why would they want to remove the carbon dioxide?”

My kid was a little shocked, but explained, “Well, the astronauts breath out carbon dioxide, and they have to remove some when there is too much.”

His teacher said, “Well, why don’t they just open a window?”

How are the kids gonna learn when the teachers are such air heads?

<How are the kids gonna learn when the teachers are such air heads?

I’m on a message board with other college professors. You would be shocked (well, maybe not) to read what they have to say about ed students. There are professors with PhDs in chemistry, biology, geology, math, literature, etc. who wind up teaching these little geniuses. Many times the students will say things like, ‘I’m glad when I get out of this course. I hate reading.’ or ‘Why do I have to learn this, I’m going to be a teacher and the answers are in the teacher’s textbook.’

Believe me, you want to cry sometimes. I don’t blame the kids as much as I blame the teachers and the stupid parents who never talk to their kids about history, politics, art, etc.

I certainly don't want to let the educatocracy off the hook, but the parents are more important. Of course, we're getting to the point where the parents had been taught by idiots, too.
