UC Berkeley, in an apparent attempt to stave off any association with, well, sexy co-eds doing naughty things on camera has bought a handful of .xxx domain names that could link to the school.
In other words, domains like goldenbears.xxx, uc-berkeley.xxx and calbears.xxx won’t offer any titillating bits, just a dark screen that says “this domain has been reserved from registration.”
“We wouldn’t want to be associated with the kind of industries that would use that domain name,” . . .

I went to UC Berkeley, and I met many fine women. But these were not the kind of women you would be logging onto this type of website to see.
They probably don’t shave their legs and pits anyway.

Bet you don’t have UCBerkeley.xxx.edu
A quick WHOIS check says that the TLD "XXX.EDU" is not currently registered. (Wow, I assumed it would be!)
"UCBerkeley.xxx.edu" would just be a subdomain under that. So if you registered "xxx.edu", you could have subdomains for all the great schools in the world!
