If Rick Santorum can step back and assess his future clearly, this is his most logical course to the presidency, provided he can demonstrate the virtue of patience.

That's right.....Rick needs to play his cards right...if this goes to his head, which he's known to let that happen, he could easily sabatogue his political future.

But Rick's also known to step on and over whoever he needs to to get where he wants to be...so he's unpredicatable in that respect. He could swing toward Romney as easily as for Newt to reach his political asperations.... Time will tell...

Newt's got this one chance to give it his all now...and we've got this one chance to save our country.....good match in my opinion.

We shall see. Recall that Newt led in FL the Monday after SC...and then he got shellacked.

So...it could be true that Santorum leads today. It could also be true that he will get hammered by Romney.

Now, that said, IF Romney loses in Michigan where he is HEAVILY favored for all of the obvious reasons...IF he loses here, then, I think we can begin to say with some certainty that Romney in fact will not be the nominee.

It will be an interesting couple of weeks....

Early PPP polling shows Santorum may be causing a seismic shift in MI with a as much as a 10-15 point lead over Romney!
