It’s funny, but my Dad just pulled out old photographs and two pictures were of my grandfather and his brother at Hialeah in the 50’s. I wish I could post them but I haven’t uploaded them yet. Anyway, they were two short Italian guys dressed in suits and fedora’s. THOSE were the days!

Just so everyone knows: no thoroughbreds tomorrow, or at all this winter at Hialeah. Quarter-horses are running. I've seen literally thousands of races (T-bred and harness, even a few Arabians) but I've never been present at a quarter-horse race. But I have my beginners' strategy ready.
