NBC poised to re-sign special correspondent Chelsea Clinton

Despite being billed as one of the most ‘boring people of her era,’ with television performances slammed as monochromatic and lacking charisma, Chelsea Clinton won’t be going off the air anytime soon.

A source from NBC told the New York Post that Miss Clinton’s relationship with the news network won’t end when her 90-contract expires. The Post speculates that Miss Clinton, who was brought on as a special correspondent last December, will continue to report and produce segments to air on Rock Centre With Brian Williams.

NBC declined comment to the Post, and a rep for Miss Clinton did not immediately return a call. Miss Clinton’s original contract with the network was only for 90 days, and is set to expire in a few weeks.

Since her tepid debut last December, a handful of specials reported by Miss Clinton have aired on NBC. The first was a feature piece on an after school program in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

The latest, which aired last Wednesday, covered a charter school in Rhode Island, and highlighted the success of unconventional teaching methods. Another piece from January 30 details the story of a veteran prisoner of war who provides soldiers with therapy dogs.

“Miss Clinton” has been married for some time. Kind of silly to still be calling the poor girl that isn’t it?

Must have been one heck of a debt owed to Clinton to get NBC to take on his daughter. Again. Hopefully it’d be paid real soon.

From what I’ve heard she’s really terrible.

That name is the only thing she’s got going for her. Anyone else at that talent level wouldn’t get their foot in the door.

Renew her contract why not? The MSM feels cheerleaders with jaw mutations like Katie Couric and forgers like Dan RaTHer are quality newscasters so why not Chelsea? Maybe someday we’ll get a bonus and Chelsea will do a report on sexual assault and rape and the politicians who get away with it.

Why would you say that?

The MSM adores the Clintons.

BJ Clinton is undoubtedly the MOST POPULAR Democrat politician in the US, with Hillary #2.

I'm sure hiring their spawn (well at least Hillary's spawn) is looked at as great opportunity.

Part and parcel of totalitarianism is the acrid and rancid rising to the top.

Our media is quite similar to Pravda in the old Soviet Union. Merely a propaganda outlet for the ruling party (Democrat). I watch sports but refuse to watch TV news.

Thats too bad. I hear Judge Napalitano was put on waivers at FOX. NBC could use some credibility like that.
