That is the ONLY Tommy burgers!!!!

I used to eat three squares a day there when I was young, and now every time I even get in the vicinity of LA, I go right there, no matter how far out of the way it is.

It is still awesome, but not as awesome as before Tommy died. After that they added unnecessary things like fries and stuff to the menu.

I remember seeing lines around the block at 3am many times. Somethings gotta be said for a place that is open 24/7, and always has a crowd.

I put a couple of tommy burgers in the back seat of the car at the beginning of a drive back to Reno once when I was a kid. 7 hours in a car did not do them any favors, lol.

Back in the late '60s when I attended USC, 2 a.m. would find lots of SC and UCLA students there chowing down, since it was sorta midway between. It was crowded because there was only the one line--they added the eastern kitchen later.

I took my 70-year-old grandmother and 82-year-old great uncle, and they both loved it!

Ol' Tommy used to hire ex-cons. Quite an atmosphere.
