Yes, his “apology” reads, to anyone even slightly critical, as damning evidence of his guilt. He says he lied, but we should trust him when says he isn’t lying about other things. He admits he is the source, but punts off responsiblity to an “anonymous” source up the line who he cannot name. Finally, he never actually apologizes to those he has wronged, and even tries to get a final dig in at them in a desperate attempt to continue his character assassination game.
