It's so cool to know these fools will suffer beyond what they can imagine.

The Federal Reserve taking advantage of the primacy of the US Dollar has allowed the country to live beyond its means for a while - and allowed attitudes like this to grow. I don’t know how much longer it can last, but when that situation runs its course, its gonna hurt.

I agree. But unfortunately, some who are not fools will also suffer.

Nah, life is tough but the smart and capable will always endure. I agree though, it is a shame we live in a fallen world.

I just took a poll of the kids in this age range who I know. They all, w/o fail said...

“those who feel that way aren’t really going to get anywhere in life if they have this mentality.”

I was ALSO told...just now...that they’re SICK of being stereo-typed. Not ALL of them are this stupid.

:)

While my children consider themselves Republicans I find that they are more in the RINO camp. When I try to tell them that the gov is taking control of their lives away from them they call me a “crazy lady” that should stop listening to the people on FR.

I love it how they brand us as generation gimme. ;)

Real wages from 1969-1979 were 8.75/hour, peaking at 9.5 in 1975.

Generation gimme hasn’t seen real wages higher than 8.25. That’s right - the younguns are having to make do with less than you boomers did.

So go on, tell us how all use younguns are greedy. I figure that we’re looking at a 15 percent decline in the standard of living, and that was back in 2005 when things were much better than they are now. The trough was 7.5, which if that is the case today, we are looking at a 25 percent decline in our standard of living.

And we are generation gimme? Really? The facts don’t bear it out.

You would make better wages if you didn’t work at McDonalds. Don’t you have any skills?

Your kids are in the minority, though. How do they propose to stand up to their peers who want everything given to them at the expense of others? What do they intend to do to change these sorts of beliefs in government control?

Many American youth follow whatever the elitists put out for them to ingest. Right now they are putting out sexual smut, globalism and socialism. So it’s cool to be a communist hippy.

Hopefully, we will change that again. We have to slap around the elite. Elitist boomers are revisiting their destructive childhood through America’s youth.

>And we are generation gimme? Really? The facts don’t bear it out.

If you are asking for free stuff, you are generation gimme. If you are not, then the label is false. The standard of living is irrelevant to the validity of the label.

This doesn’t even take into account the fact that wealth transfer does nothing but kill the sources of wealth, thus reducing that standard of living.

That’s what large federal governments get you. Just imagine what would happen if the signer of they paycheck wasn’t getting robbed daily to pay for the government largesse described in this video.

Unbelievable! And Zero and his Dims will try to give it to them unless he is defeated.

I would make more working for McDonalds than where I work at present. :)

But - that’s the reality of today’s world.

And yes - I have a degree. I’ve paid off my debts - etc. Don’t owe anybody anything - there’s just not many opportunities out there right now.
