If these islands belong to Alaska now, where in the Constitution does the fedgov get the power to dispose of them and give them to a foreign power?
Where?

I'm trying to rationalize this myself. Since the power to acquire territory is considered inherent, maybe he thinks that inherent power works in reverse? I can't believe I'm writing this, but I miss Bill Clinton.

Answer: the islands never belonged to Alaska, they were not included in the Alaska Purchase. They are close to the Asian continent and hence present-day Russia, they are
not close to Alaska. Anyone who bothers to find these islands on a map would say they are obviously part of Russia.
The border maritime border between Russia and the U.S. was negotiated over 20 years ago and the treaty was ratified by the U.S. Congress and signed by G.H.W. Bush back in 1990/91. The Obamanation had nothing to do with the treaty.

Not knowing for sure (and that never stopped me from making a statement) wouldn’t the Congress have to approve anything like this?

If these islands belong to Alaska now,... They don't. They are owned by, populated by and governed by Russia.

It doesn’t. The POTUS does not have the authority to give away any part of the soverieign land of the US without the legislature voting on it. Barry and the Hilldebeast should both be prosecuted for treason.

You have it half A backwards......We purchased from Russia and OUR purchase had limits.
Pssst...The purchase was called Seward's Folly in my school books.
