I knw we don’t count it, but there was a new “being Human” on BBCA last night. It was a bit disappointing as I didn’t have any advance knowledge on what was going to happen this season. It will be almost an entirely different show.

Ah, John Sayles ripping off "The Seven Samurai" albeit, in space.

The shot of the spaceship in the clip reminds me of a lint roller.

I'm pretty sure I saw it for a buck, on its way out of theatre release...

I was just out of college, and Sybil Danning (and her outfit) was more interesting than John Boy could ever be.

Friday night's Fringe was a very good episode. It focused a lot on the Observers, especially September. The episode was written by David Fury and it was a good ep.

Because of the poor viewership numbers, Zap2It.com seems to think both Alcatraz and Fringe will get cancelled.

No word on whether Terra Nova will get a 2nd season.

Strangely, the modernized fairy tales, Once Upon a Time and Grimm are doing pretty good and will probably both get a 2nd season.

That is why SciFi and Networks don’t mix.. I think that Terra Nova will get the ax..

a new “being Human” on BBCA last night

I am not sure which episode BBCA had, but I watched the British Being Human. Season 1 had a good mixture of drama and humor. Season 2 was too dark, and I didn't care for it. Season 3 got back to some of the humor of Season 1, but it was only so-so. They just started a 4th Season with replacement werewolf and vampire characters.

The SyFy version Season 1 followed the British version, sort of, by compacting all the British episodes in Season 1 of the SyFy version. Now, the SyFy version seems to be going out in its own direction and its own scripts.

We’ve shifted from science fiction of a glorious future to a gritty one. Now pure fantasy has taken over, as if we don’t see hope in our real world that could be made manifest. Just jump straight to magic and dragons and temporary escape.

What was your opinion of Terra Nova’s ending?

That's the one. The vampire died at the end of the last season (so that shouldn't be a spoiler to anyone). And they set it up for a war between the old vampires and the werewolves.

But I didn't expect to lose another major character between seasons, off-screen, and then lose another one, leaving one main character, one minor character from last season and a couple newbies. It's a different show now.

Stephen Hawkings’ sci fi masters SUCKS

this repackaged Canadian tripe from 2006 is so unAmerican as to make even the most rabid (conservative)Scifi fan puke....

last nights was the worst...

poorly written at best. Stephen should be ashamed.

Fox seems unable to package scifi.....

a prime example is ‘Firefly’, which should of had a 3 year run at least, died after 14 episodes...

the ‘Serenity’ movie had to cram way too much into 2 hours...and there is still a feeling plot lines that went no where, because there just wasn’t time.

Perhaps his being proved wrong led him to go all agly, or maybe the producers led him astray?
