WARREN, Ohio, Two middle-school teachers in Ohio have been suspended for barking at a student who allegedly barked at another teacher.
Meghan Montgomery told WFMJ-TV in Youngstown she disciplined her daughter after school officials in Warren told her her daughter had misbehaved in a music class. But she said two teachers who were not involved in the initial incident didn't let the matter drop.
"The teachers had the whole classroom barking at her and calling her a dog and taunting her and just being mean to her," Montgomery said.
Annette Constantino, who has been teaching in Warren for 11 years, was given a two-day suspension and Judith Brown, a 16-year veteran, got five days. Montgomery called the penalties "a slap on the wrist."
"The two teachers called me and tried to justify themselves," Montgomery said. "Ms. Constantino said that she was trying to let Marissa know how it felt."
The suspensions begin Monday.
"The school has adopted a zero tolerance against bullying but it seems like that only applies to the students," Thomas Eldridge, Marissa's grandfather, told the TV station.

“Ms. Constantino said that she was trying to let Marissa know how it felt.”
...these liberal, union thug boneheads are assaulting and taking advantage of kids with more regularity. They know there’s no punishment, they’ve been emboldened by others across the country who are doing these things and getting away with it.
Too bad that teachers now days are not allowed even to slap a student on the wrist. I had a grade school teacher that would crack you on the knuckles with a ruler.

Well..unfortunately as you can see by the article the teachers act like the very children they’re suppose to be teaching.
I had a teacher who was an ear pincher and another who would tug on the hair at the base of your neck.
same here
Mrs. Hand...4th grade
No way. I’m not pinging the Doggy list. Not going to do it. No sir.
No, that’s a happy little girl with a horrible medical condition.
Poor Sister Britta...She had the shakes by the time we left. Saw her years later...no shakes.
Things are so out of control an apology is in order for calling a slut a slut. And even worse, apologizing to other governments when our citizens are murdered.
Yeah I’m glad my teachers were adults.
Just last week I got word that my former high school science teacher is in a nursing home in a bad way. He has an inoperable brain tumor and has lost his sight and ability to speak but his mind is clear.
I sent him a card for his son to read to him to tell him that I appreciated what he had done for me. I also told him that all those after school detentions were intentional because I did like him and that I learned more in that after school hour than any other time.
She actually is a happy little girl! Just a lame attempt at humor on my part.

Heck, 8 years of Catholic school and it wasnt til I got to high school before I figured out a ruler was used for measuring things.
I have seen books, erasers, ruler and chalk thrown at kids when they screwed up.
It may not have been the best way of doing things, but it got the point accross.
Mon Dieu! My eyes!!!!
One guy had to make his own paddle in shop class for his own punishment.
So you support the barking teachers? Did you read the article?
She has the eyes of a little girl who knows she is loved. Just looking at her picture, I noticed that I was smiling.
Put the teachers and the girl on leashes for a week.
That will teach everyone a lesson.
Aw, come on, Sweetheart! LOL!
I’ll bark for you, darling ;-)
Now I’m blind, again.
Are you woofing me?
I would bet this isn't the first incident with this student. I would bet there are a group of teachers sick of her crap.
I wonder if she barked like this guy does in this video?

Is this a hit piece against the teachers or the child?
Nothing is said of the misconduct of the girl.
Finger nail on the underside of the ear lobe. Leaves no visible marks.
WOOF...!!!
So much for the rest of my oatmeal...Thanks ;)
The “misconduct” of the girl was taken care of home.
What, you think torture and humiliation of a child that has already suffered a parental punishment is ok?
Are you sadistic? Or do you think the children’s discipline should ONLY come at the hands of the state government?
Student barked. Teachers barked back.
Student gets coddled. Teachers get suspended.
We are becoming Great Britain.
I DON’T CARE IF THEY ARE ‘SICK OF HER CRAP!’
Bark at my kid after I’ve punished her at home and I will make your life hell.
You should care if they are sick of her crap. It shows your failure as a parent.
Like I said. Bring back the good old days and lay a board across her butt.

I had a math teacher who would gut you with a Bowie knife, then yank your head back by the hair, slice your neck open, and hungrily drink of the gushing fountain of blood.
LOL!
BUMP
So, now we see the rest of the story. This girl learned the barking behavior at school. From her teachers. Her mistake was barking at her betters, who then summoned the pack.
It all makes sense now, in a warped sort of way. Good thing those teachers don’t have Tazers.
I had a teacher that had a barrel stave with a handle carved at one end. The curvature allow for full contact.

Accccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! Flashback!
Sister Mary Leadbottom. Yes, I well know that look and posture. Fortunately, I was a very well behaved boy and never received a crack on the hand with the yardstick myself, but I witnessed many a caning in my day.

??????????????????????
Goodie! Bone jokes aside, I’ll scratch your ears! ;^)
You know I’m always up for some heavy petting!
You would trust stupid leftist teachers like this with the power to beat students they hate? They love evil and hate good.
Come here, good boy! Oh, he’s a good, gooood boy!
