I am voting for Newt tomorrow. (struggled back and forth between him and Santorum until today.)

However, I don’t appreciate someone saying that about any of our candidates, regardless of how much I don’t like them.

“Our” candidates? I think I’m safe in saying that for the overwhelming majority of Freepers, Myth isn’t “our” anything. We want no association with him, whatever letter (”R” or “D”) he has on his uniform this week.

Myth is no more one of “our” candidates than is Obama.

Hank

Oh B. S.

Romney is a man I’d have a very hard time voting for, but he is a legitimate and viable political candidate for the office of the Presidency of the United States.

For a person who likely wet themselves when they heard of Rush’s characterization of that 30 year old woman last week, he’s way out of line making a comment like this about Romney.

Why are you so willing to let a Leftist screwball say anything he wants? They sure don’t cut us any slack.

Ohio FReepers; get this spread around tonight and in the morning to get this to as many folks as you can before they go to the polls. Ohio is too close to call tonight by the pundits. Even though Romney has spent $12 Million to $1 Million by Santorum. The Moderate Mormon is going to buy this nomination if he can. If RINO-Rom gets the nomination, look for Conservatives to abandon the GOP enmasse in November; giving Obozo 4 more years.

Romney is already headed for Hell on the fast track. He can change that, but I doubt he will.

BULLSHIT!!! Somebody needs to tell the truth because the establishment GOP is not going to do it. Did you read the entire article? And just for the record: RINO-Rom may be one of “your” candidates, but he is not one of “our” candidates. He’s a Liberal, lying, two-faced, scum bag who is trying to buy this nomination. Screw him!!!

"Why are you so willing to let a Leftist screwball say anything he wants? They sure don’t cut us any slack."

The same reason I wouldn't object if he said something about Michael Moore or Bill Maher. Why would I object to one leftist loon slandering another leftist? Hank

Well, like it or not (and I actually don’t), Romney is running as a Republican. If you give sign off for this Leftist nit-wit to act this way about one of our candidates, he’s got carte blanche to do it concerning any of them.

Look, we agree about Romney. We don’t agree on letting Leftist use any language they want in public, to denigrate our candidates.

If the Left wants to enforce strict rules about what you can and can’t say in public, then they need to live by them.

OK, but we have different ways of defining “our.” Apparently - and correct me if I’m wrong - so long as a candidate has an “R” next to his name, you consider then one of “us.” I don’t.

I’m a conservative. Party affiliation for me is simply the most convenient vehicle for implementing that philosphy. But the important part is the philosophy, not the letter “R.”

Jerry Seinfeld once quipped that sports fans “root for laundry,” meaning that they just root for whoever is wearing their team’s uniform.

Well my uniform is the conservative uniform, not the Republican uniform. Newt’s on my team. Rick is on my team. Perry, Bachmann, Cain...they were all on my team. Not because they had “R” next to their names, but because they had “C” next to their names.

Myth has “L.” NOT my team.

Hank

Bull!

The man is a consummate liar, that alone, disqualifies him for the highest leadership position in the land.

Factor in his Progressive Liberal record as Governor, and what you have is a Democrat in a cheap Republican suit.

Add in how he threw all ethics to the wind and decided to lie about both Santorum and Gingrich in the most egrarious ways and all I have got to say, is what the hell are you thinking!?

Like I said, I am voting for Newt tomorrow.

However, as badly as it pains me, I am not voting or giving a half vote to Obama in the fall.

I don’t want Romney. If he does win, hopefully, he will pick a true conservative running mate.

I understand your passion, but I can not stay home or even write in an alternative, if it means that the little sniveling ineligible American hating creation gets back in.

I hope you will forgive me because I would forgive you as Obama runs us faster off the cliff.

And yet the GOP-E, using Romney, will run us off that cliff as well, slower, but you and the GOP will still be figuratively dead.

That’s my take on it too. Nobody will convince me any of our candidates will be as bad as Obama. I voted at the WA caucus Saturday for somebody some here will approve of, but come November I don’t give a GD who our candidate is, I will be voting for him, to send that disrespectful A-hole back to Chicago

That is the Prime Directive

Every candidate up until these last two election cycles, with one exception who did not get caught until out of office, qualified for the office. Now we have Romney, Santorum, McCain, Obama and two VP possibles Jindal and Rubio all of whom fail to qualify because they are not Natural Born Citizens. Do you think this a coincidence?

Exactly right!

Everything that you folks say about Romney is true. Yet you, I, and our cohorts on the Right are the only ones who are qualified to make critical comments about him, at this stage.

Leftists are not qualified to make judgments about candidates on the right. They elected this turncoat we have, and they have the audacity to try to make political judgments about candidates in the Republican Party? HELL NO! They have no standing whatsoever.

You folks are reading the wrong things into this. I do not see Romney as a Conservative. You do not see him as a Conservative. Believe it or not, the Left actually does. The media actually does.

I do not see Romney as an ally, in any other form than in the minds of the Left. The Left sees McCain, Romney, and all manner of rotting political garbage as Conservative.

Well, they’re wrong. I’m going to call them on it.

The swine who voted in Barack Obama to lead their party and our nation, have no standing to make any comments whatsoever about Romney.

Truth be told, they favor Romney above all others in our party. We all know that. We know it, because Romney is most like Obama, and thus neutered 100% if he were to go up against him.

I suffer from no delusions about Romney, but we take out our own trash. The very idea that the Left could participate in that, is diseased logic indeed.

If the train is moving slow, then maybe we can stop and reverse it. If it continues screaming forward with the drunk conductor Obama, there is ZERO chance of going over the cliff.

I think it is a poor statement about those of us who have been here more than one generation. Do we lack the drive and ambition to be president? Are we too lazy? Do we not encourage our children to grow up and lead the best country in the world?

Why do 1st generation Americans promote this more with their children than we do? (in oBozo’s case, I know his parents didn’t love our country, so he is an anomaly)

BTW, Santorum isn’t “natural born”? Gingrich isn’t on your list. I am voting for him today. I don’t know if he or Santorum can pass Romney, but I am hopeful.
