Manning has played this beautifully. Look, if he wanted to stay with Indy, he could have reworked his contract, to void the $28 mill bonus. Remember, last season he did get $22 mill while unable to play. No team he signs with now wil pay him anywheres that much..I suspect any contract he signs will have many performance bonuses attached to a low base rate.

Nope, Manning feels that he can play a few more years. I hoipe he can, and that he won't suffer an injury. But this way, he can sign with any team he wants, and he's looking for a GOOD team that needs a QB, and in a major media market ( Hello..JETS!!)
