High Street store H&M has come under fire today for its use of a model some have said is so thin as to be 'corpse-like'.
The model was used in PR material for the clothing giant's Marni campaign, the latest high profile designer collaboration to be launched by the firm.
But some have complained that 26-year-old Aymeline Valade looks 'ready to collapse'.

If they didn’t hate women they wouldn’t be homos. Whenever I hear a woman complain about fashion I tell them what you said.
By the way Twiggy was way ahead of her time.

I am wondering if she was wearing a beautiful evening gown... if she still wouldn’t look sick. I don’t think the model could be dressed in ANYTHING and the viewer say, “that’s lovely”.
If you want thin and French but still attractive there’s Audrey Tautou.
This poor girl has no muscles just skin stretched over bone.

I like the look of a well toned woman but not one that I’d be afaid to bump into on a dark street,
I would assume that as part of her regimine in keeping employed as a actress she has a daily workout schedule that would make most of us fall over and puke.
I don’t care what they are asserting, I will bet everything that she’s not a day over 16 years of age. Most pictures of models you see in print ads are photo-shopped pictures of underaged girls between 13 snd 17. It’s child abuse.
To be in that kind of shape you have to devote a great deal of time to it. That is not an "hour a day three days a week" body.
One problem about using Twiggy as a thin avatar is that the popular image is of the 16 year old, before she lost the baby fat.

OK. At 26 she was Emma Watson thin, not Twiggy thin. And for the last half of her life she has been English thin, not Hollywood thin (and seriously hawt)
As an adult, she's been eating right.
Thats how Twiggy got her start, but it didn’t last long..she also looked like an anoroxic...back in the 60 or 70’s. Don’t remember which I was busy raising a family..

I fell in love with her when I first saw Amélie and thought she was great in Little Devils.
Gotta dust them off to watch with the lady.
