Birds are by far the most intelligent pets. When was the last time anyone’s dog greeted them by name and asked them how their day was, in English?
Never.
Absolutely! Or tell you - in English - when they have to "GO", so you can place them in the appropriate spot to do just that? Or to ask - in English - for a kiss, for their favorite treat, for a scratch, to be picked up, or to be cuddled? The downside to all this is, the larger birds can have the intelligence of about a 7-year old kid, but the emotional maturity of a 2-year old. So it's like living with a highly intelligent 2-year old (and yes, they throw 2-year olds' tantrums, too).
