Because what is happening lets them get what they secretly want, without taking any blame. There is a reason Boehner did not cut off funding for OboZoCare, which is running into hundreds of billions with them declaring a 111 billion shortfall already. Those expenses are for putting in place the implementing agencies that will never go away.

Even if the court knocks down the mandate, (which I doubt) you will never unravel the mess and you can lay that at the feet of Boehner.
If there are death panels all medical locations will have to be protected by the military. There will be soldiers on the roofs with M-16s. Can you imagine the reaction of a bunch of people who are told to take their babies home and let them die?
