there was a night some of us saw a green meteor streak across the sky. It was during a meteor shower. Figured that baby was pure copper.

My wife and I saw one of those go straight over our house during the Leonid shower some years back. Fantastic sight. That thing was hauling ass, smoking and glowing green. Just beautiful.

I saw an orange meteor once. Sodium, maybe?
