I’ve been doing this for years. I’ve got several supermarkets that I pass on the way home from work. On Friday when they start their new week’s sales, I look at their online circulars, note anything I like that’s on sale, and make a list for each. Then I’ll stop off at one on Friday, another on Monday, and get the sale items I like. If it’s not on sale, I mostly don’t buy it.

Heh, heh, in the how to impress the Germans PSA, the husband says to the Aryan waiter,

“Herr Ober, Wir haben der Jaegerschnitzel bitte, auch mit Gemuese!”

That scene looks more like 1937. FWIW, I was stationed there 1981-83, real helicopter pilot. Germany is a beautiful place from the air. We were told to avoid overflying castles, it rattled their brickwork. This after the Thirty Years War and the Eighth U.S. Air Force! Oh, well.

Hopefully it will go on sale in a store in your area soon.

Excuse me, but what is used milk?

And used deodorant? YUCK.

The old timers never refrigerated eggs.. They stored them for up to 30 days on the counter. But these were fresh eggs.

You have no idea how old the eggs you buy at the store are.

You have a sell by date but is it 2-4 or 6 weeks out of the hen.

A fresh egg will have a high bright yoke...if the yolk is flatish when it goes in the skillet..it’s old.
