To: Ham Hock; varmintman

Whatever, My 1992 Accord EX has 270,000 on it and I replace the Tranny fluid every 30,000 or so. It makes a huge difference with the vacuum and all. Replaced the blower motor, timing belt and hoses. Best little car ever.

I live in Japan , and both my wife and my daughter own Hondas . We owned an Odyssey for a time when living in the States some years ago . ZERO problems . My Japanese brother-in-law’s little Honda window van just died with 350,000 miles on it . Never had a major problem with it . What do you think he bought to replace it ? Yep - another Honda .

Should’ve mentioned, sorry, this car has a 5-speed manual transmission. I generally prefer Hondas to Toyotas but that’s because I prefer manual transmissions, if I had to own a car with an automatic for some reason it would probably be a Toyota since the Toyota autos are pretty much bulletproof and nobody elses really are.
