Chuck Krauthammer agrees with me that he has to pick Rubio and that Rubio will draw in lots of different constituencies. Whyisa i know you are concerned that the diehards won’t ever pull the lever for Romney, but if we can draw the Hispanics to the ticket by adding Rubio, it may be enough. Also, Rubio should put FL def in the R column. He suggested Portman as another alternative, but def was high on Rubio. and said that regardless of Rubio saying NO now, that he won’t say no, no one says no, when the call is actually made and everything is on the line.

I have worked up some enthusiasm of late for Santorum, even tweeted once in his defense and surprised myself. I know Romney will end up with it, but denial has nothing to do with it....it’s more like an act of resignation to defer finally to Romney. I am sure I could come around, but I don’t want to. I do think he will rake in the Dem votes and help us win, but that is the very reason I don’t like Romney.

They signed Sanchez to a contract extension earlier. so bringing in another high profile QB has got to make him feel good.
