Posted on 03/22/2012 6:13:25 PM PDT by dirtbiker
The residents of the Conservative Cave have taken it upon themselves to help out a DUmmie who is running for city council of the city of Bellevue, Nebraska. Omaha Steve, aka Steve Dawes, is the only "D" in a 4 man primary consisting of 2 "R's", a "L", and himself. After viewing his lame attempt of a campaign website http://stevedawes2012.com/, we took it upon ourselves to release a new and improved website for Steve: http://www.electstevedawes.com/.
We feel the new website better explains Steve's true political leanings, expressed in his own words, referenced by his numerous postings at the DUmp. Please copy and paste the new website address as much as possible, use it freely.
He signed up here today and got the shock of his life.
Who? Omaha Steve?
LOL, let’s give him some active links.
He needs a facebook fan page too. :->
That was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen on FR...Many, many thanks for not only making my day but, probably, the whole year.
His ‘official’ website is seriously lacking information about what he stands for, positions, history, etc. Obviously you are doing him a favor as he is new to the process.
I am helping him by sending your page to a lot of folks who work in one of my Bellevue offices and asking them to share with their friends.
Let’s help good old Steve out.
Ha Ha, what a loser!
Wants “isle” seats ‘cause he’s too fat to sit inboard.
Go back to DU, schmuck.
Behold the power of Free Republic. The phrase Elect Steve Dawes now has the ‘new’ site as the very first search result, even above his official site.
Most excellent idea. We should do this to all of those scumbags.
LMAO! It’s like two entirely different people! He doesn’t seem to talk much about his church on DU, does he? Wonder why?
I heart you, and dirtbiker for posting this.
The magnificent site http://www.electstevedawes.com/# that clearly illuminates his extreme left wing, socialist agenda, has been my sig line for a few days. Each word entered has been typed by the candidate himself on Democratic Underground and cannot be denied.
We noticed that, because we believe an informed voter is a responsible voter.
We felt it was our responsibility, our patriotic duty even, to get this information out to the voters of Bellevue, NE.
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Hoisted by his own words. DUmmie Steve wrote his own expose’
Bravo Zulu, DB.
And a BTTT to keep it rolling....
Thanks again, magslinger and mnehring, for making my links clickable. It’s been a while since I posted here, and I had forgotten how to do that.
However, let's just remember that the Democratic Underground people could do the same thing to many of us.
I think anything I've said here on Free Republic would be viewed as middle-of-the-road moderate conservative positions in my circles, but out-of-context stuff can always be twisted.
I can respect an honest liberal. I've got a big problem with a union official who was “told (he) need(s) a more neutral car to win the election to city council next year. Last look” and then took off a lot of left-wing bumper stickers.
If you believe something, have the courage of your convictions to say it if you're going to ask people to vote for you.
We now have a president who managed to make Hillary Clinton and John Edwards look moderate. Obviously open-and-out liberalism can win elections — motivating the base can open checkbooks and energize volunteers.
Too bad it's the Democrats and not the Republicans who learned that lesson the best.
A little premature there, aren't you? Rommie hasn't even won the nomination, yet.
I'm not sure where Romney falls on the John Edwards-Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama scale. I do know Romney was the most liberal of the 2012 Republican candidates with the possible exception of Huntsman, and he should be running as a Democrat, not as a Republican.
My mistake. Mitt Obama and Barrack Romney are hard to tell apart.
You got that right, Magslinger... Romney is a real problem.
