In this case I deem the wolf in wolf’s clothing more dangerous because he’s a black wolf and no one in either party or the media dares to challenge him because of it. Do you think etch a sketch Romney can’t be held to account? Given the fight conservatives are giving him, I’d hardly say he has a mandate to pursue liberal policies. We can push back and slow him down. Obama will have nothing to lose. It will be full speed ahead.

Mitt Romney wouldn’t get my vote, or the votes of anyone I politically associate with, even if hell froze solid. We’re conservatives.

So, go waste that tired old nonsense on someone else.

-He has promised to do away with Obamacare too many times to go back on his word. —

The only time I heard him mention it was when a woman asked him if he would, he said, “Why would I not do that?”

He answered a question with a question. He dodged the question, and allowed the listener to infer that he would, when he may have actually been giving himself an out when he finds what he thinks can be passed off as a valid “why”.

That was cheesy.

My top ten reasons I’d vote for a ham sandwich over Obama in 2012:

#10. A ham sandwich would not destroy even more job creation by increasing taxes on the wealthy.
#9. A t ham sandwich would not place a moratorium on offshore drilling.
#8. A ham sandwich would not over-regulate every aspect of our lives in order to pick “winners” and “losers”.
# 7. A ham sandwich would not bow to a Saudi king or submit to the Muslim Brotherhood.
#6. A ham sandwich would not decrease overall revenue by increasing taxes on small businesses (refer to new reports out of Europe).
#5. A ham sandwich would not stand in the way of Israel from defending itself from the existential threat posed by the Iranian regime.
#4. A ham sandwich would not implement a Fast and Furious gun running program in order to give false credibility to the elimination of our 2nd Amendment rights.
#3. A ham sandwich would not weaken our national security by unilaterally disarming our military.
# 2. A ham sandwich would not give away billions of dollars of our taxpayers money for a world-wide wealth distribution scheme known as global warming.

And finally my # 1 reason why I’d vote for a ham sandwich over Obama in 2012: A ham sandwich would not veto the repeal of Obamacare.

I suppose it’s not going to matter much anyway because it’s about to hit the fan. The racially charged frenzy the kenyan is trying to whip up is about to begin.

According to you: We let each state choose fascist communism. Mandates are fine as long as the state says it’s OK. The fact that it is national is the only problem you have with Romney/Obamacare. Who cares what goes on in Massachusetts, New York, California, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado. Until the RINOs infiltrate your state, take over the govt. and make you have to pay for this monstrosity, everything is fine.

Sorry but statism is wrong in the nation and the individual states. They have no right to force any of us to buy anything — not healthcare, not birth control.

The fact that we in the rest of the nation actually pay for Romney’s Masscare means nothing to you. On top of that, you believe everything Romney says about getting rid of Obamacare even when he sends his advisors out telling people that’s not what he means. According to them he won’t really get rid of Obamacare. He’ll just alter a few things.

I understand why you think the way you do. You have to keep fooling yourself in order to be able to vote for him. But you don’t have keep perpetuating his lies for him. We are not fooled. We know he is lying. We know because he’s done it before. He’s been doing this for years.

Mitt Romney is a democrat who infiltrated the republican party. He thinks like a democrat, he campaigns like a democrat, and he governed like a democrat, all because he is one. If he is chosen as the republican nominee, there will be two democrats running against each other. The GOP-E is stupid enough to believe that republicans are like democrats — that we pay no attention to past history or the truth and that we will do whatever they, our elite “betters” say.

They are quite wrong and Mitt is a mistake.

You are part of the conservatve’s problem. My candidate or none!

Nope, this is part of the REPUBLICANs problem, it's no problem at all for conservatives.

And you've stated the issue wrong. It's my Principles or none. There's no point for a conservative in supporting any candidate who doesn't support conservative principles.

We've had several conservative candidates that all the conservatives could have backed eventually. Romney is not and never will be on that list.

The choice between an Etch A Sketch CULT LEADER and a COMMUNIST, is no "choice". I will vote for conservative Republicans on the bottom of the ticket and either write in a conservative's name for president, or I will leave it blank. I will have a clear conscience before God that I am not responsible for voting either of these EVIL men into power. If Obama gets reelected, it will not be my fault, the blame will rest solely on the liberals running the Republican party who refused to put up or support a CONSERVATIVE candidate for president.

After decades of being played for a fool and being used by the Republican establishment, I am all done playing their "vote for our guy because he is the lesser of two evils" game.

“How many of you just didn’t like McCain enough to vote for him? Thanks, now we have BO in the WH”

Agreed. Unnfortunately Romney looks to lose at least a percentage of the “principled” vote. I just hope there’s enough of these yoyos @ http://formerobamasupporters.com/ to form an unholy alliance with to boot that commune-ist from the WH.

I’m certainly no Romney fan but it is indeed interesting when I see FReepers choose Obomulus over Romney while about 90% responders to a CBS News article about this latest Santorum/Romney flap side w/Romney over both Santorum & Obama they were all ABO (on a CBS thread!!!)-—go figure that one....

That's funny. I've never seen a single FReeper choose Obama for anything.

Conservatives, of course, choose neither socialist.

Sensible folks, given a choice between ingesting cyanide or strychnine say, "Are you nuts?" and/or "See this Remington pump?"

I have heard him say he would undo Obamacare many times.
My husband switches channels when BO starts talking, perhaps you do the same when it’s Romney.

Sooo, where is your conservative candidate?
I would love to see one on the ballot.
Out of the 4, I prefer Newt, cause he is the smartest and could wipe the floor with BO in a debate. But Newt is not a “true” conservative in all matters.
If he were in the lead there would be nashing of teeth on here against him too.
I simply don’t want Bo for another 4 years and don’t think our country can survive it.
Third party gave us Clinton. So that is not a viable solution.

Divide and conquer....that’s what BO has been doing. Whites against blacks, poor against rich, bosses against workers, ets.
He is giving a lesson on Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. The conservatives are falling for it hook line and sinker.
I will vote for the Rep. nominee even if it’s Ron Paul!

I Can see there is no reasoning with you on the matter. You are dead set against Romney for whatever reason.
don’t know if it’s his religion, his looks, think he was born with a silver spoon or the fact he has changed his mind on some issues.
I can understand that. I used to be strongly in favor of the death penalty. In recent years and after reading more of my Bible, I have decided it is not up to man to end another man’s life unless it is in self defense. That is my personal feeling, so I understand people changing the way they see things.
I wish you only the best and will pray that this election will bring our nation back to the greatness we used to enjoy. I will pray for guidance for all voters and leave it there.

Ma’am, we’re all here against Romney for no other reason than he’s a self-confessed liberal.

If you won’t believe any of us, maybe you’ll believe Mitt Romney himself.

The following is an interview he did with CNN in 2002.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/romney-in-2002-my-only-connection-to-the-republic

I hate to say it, but it was an honest moment during a time when being a conservative didn’t mean as much as it does today.

If you take him at his word in this, and look at his record, it fits. The actions fit the words.

Now, if you think elections change people, and that the office changes scoundrels into patriots, then there really is nothing left to say.

The only thing that changes scoundrels into patriots are hagiographers. FDR’s my personal favorite. In 1931 and 1932 he ordered all the gold be sold back to the USG for $20.67. Not a month after he passed the order, he turned around and sold it to France for $35/ounce. He cleared $69MM on the backs of people in the midst of a depression and trying to follow the law. Add about 1200 percent inflation and it’s a tidy sum. A real man of the people, FDR.

It’s ironic that SCOTUS is about to discuss dismantling Obama’s ramshackle plan for utopia in much the same way SCOTUS set FDR back on his. He even tried to pack to court before he did it too. He made Bill Clinton look like a choirboy.

Not to worry, Bill will look like St. John Bosco in another couple of generations.

I pray they dismantle Obamacare for I fear the politicians are so fickle they will wilt when it comes time for a vote. so many of them have skeletons in the closet that they are worthless to us.
I wish we had time to clean out congress first and then concentrate on the WH. That is not the case. An evil man is in our WH and we have to get him out.
Even if Romney is as liberal as you “say” he is, he is not evil and would be a big improvement from BO.

I believe the answer to all this is the Tea Party. We should have all gotten behind it more and kept the marches going constantly to DC to show that the working people won’t put up with this debt. But, alas too many of us sit back and expect others to do our work.

We *will* sacrifice one way or another. Which is worse, letting Obama take away our freedoms daily or working hard to defeat him? We have a choice now, after we let him win, we won’t have that choice.

Mormonism is a Satanic deception. As such, Mitt Romney is Satanically deceived.

On the other hand, I believe that 0bama is Satanically inspired.

So, in the next election, our choices are between the Satanically deceived Romney and the Satanically inspired 0bama.

God has truly abandoned this nation.

For good, reason, though. Just look around.

The reason I am against Romney is the reason any conservative would be against him. Romney is a socialist. There is no mystery to why I won’t vote for him. Every conservative should find Romney an abhorrent for republican nominee. I he were a democrat, he could even run as more liberal than Ted Kennedy, a famous claim we can now verify. He governed Massachusetts as a socialist with socialist solutions. He works for the side of the enemies of conservatism. He may run for the republican nomination, but if he wins, he will be the most liberal candidate ever nominated as a republican.

And yet, he continues to call himself a conservative which is the second reason I won’t vote for him. He’s pretending to be something he’s not and deceiving many people including you. Romney, the liberal socialist, acts like a liberal socialist when governing but runs pretending to hold conservative principles. In reality, he has no principles, certainly not conservative ones. He and or his mittbots trash every conservative he comes across and tells outright lies about them.

Which is the third reason I will never vote for him. He is a liar. He lies about himself. He lies about his opponents to make himself look better in comparison. He lies because he knows if every conservative knew the truth, they would not be voting for him. I know his history. I know the truth. I’m not voting for him. Romney lies when the truth would serve him better.

I am glad to read you have begun reading the Bible more. It is important to know the truth and discern when you are being deceived. I do understand change. But I also understand that liars will say anything to get what they want. If you chose to believe them, you are being naive.

You have been saying that Mitt has said over and over that he will get rid of Obamacare. Given his tendency to use lies and deception, I know he cannot not be trusted. And if it is as you say, why would he have an advisor go out in an interview and tell everyone he’s not really planning to dismantle Obamacare; he’s just going to fix it up a bit.

Or why would another person from his campaign say in an interview that Romney can just reset the campaign like erasing an Etch-A-Sketch? It seems like evidence of mass deception on Romney’s part. It is a tactic used to make sure his fellow RINOs know he has not really changed, while deceiving the naive.

I pray that you know the truth and that the Lord turns the hearts and minds of the deceived back to Him. For a long time, Christians have been deceived into living as if the wisdom of this world was all there is. It is my hope that the eyes of all will be opened and people will return to the Lord.
