It's been in swamps, marshes,and on beaches, everything from bird poop to frog snot, LOL.
All of a sudden the flash wouldn't turn off, even when down. I couldn't shoot at any speed but synch speed or slower. It's coming back next Thursday with a new top section, hopefully ready to go.
Where did you have it repaired? I’ve only found a place somewhere in Illinois to repair mine for something like 80 bucks. The 18-70 lens also failed later but buying a new one cost the same as having it repaired. Now the dropped 55-200 is failing and I’m trying to decide what to do. Manual aperture, please!
