It is not about hoodies so much as it is about dispelling the false notion perpetrated by liberals and race baiters that there is some sort of equivalency in interracial crime rates.Whites are overwhelmingly more likely to be victims of black aggressors than vice versa. Yet there are no marches or media driven services for such victims.
Looks like something that could have come from “The People’s Church”, all that’s missing is the Kool-Aid.
You can’t lose what you never had to begin with. See post #17.
The pastor there is Courtney McBath, right? I’m in Virginia, and the services there were aired on TV around the state (at night in syndication). My husband and I used to watch sometimes; we liked him, and his messages were often very good. Then in 2008, he started talking about how he was voting for Obama, and we never watched again.
I’m not familiar with he tune.
What’s in the red solo cup?

We all be hoodie now.
In da HOOD!
That is him and your assessment is precisely what I’ve seen as well. Take for example this past week’s message.

He has been putting politics in everything. He compares the supporters of ‘the current administration’ to Daniel and compares Daniel’s persecution to people opposing the current administration. He even goes so far, and frankly crosses the line when he says “we can thrive in this current administration because like the kings of Daniels day, the king will just turn certain matters over to us and kill anyone who messes with his man!.”
Yes, you read that right, the source is linked. He used to be a pastor along the lines of Jakes and Dollar, but as you can tell by that, he is politically manipulative.
“”The Hoodie” as a symbol is sheer leftist brilliance.”
I agree. Look for the hoodie to become a centerpiece of Obama’s campaign for re-election. Now he can dress all his followers the same, and create intimidating crowds. On his way toward creating his own cult. Jim Jones was an amateur by comparison.
Lord have mercy, I’m sorry I ever listened to a word he had to say. What a disgrace.
Agreed. Attempting long rational argument is not sufficient. Creativity is needed.
The impulse behind all this activity is energizing the base with the resulting reelection of "The Divine One." It has been predicted that since the left cannot run on the record of "The Divine One" they will attack conservatives as evil, hateful, homophobes, misogynists and racists. If riots occur so much the better for the left.
