On a hunch, I went looking for Martin's Twitter account. Turns out it was scrubbed. But I did find the Google cache (turn off JavaScript before clicking) as of 6 February. And here is the background image Trayvon "SLIMM" Martin chose to grace his online presence:

That heroic role model turns out to be Corey Miller, a rapper known as C-Murder, who is doing life without parole for beating up and shooting to death 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2002 at a night club in Harvey, Louisiana.

That page contains a 15-hour old birthday greeting from EatYhurBrainz, aka Kia, who turns out to attend the same high school as Martin. Martins birthday was 5 February, so Kia's greeting was not late. (BTW, Kia, eating brains is not recommended).
