Romney is not my first choice, but he can win a national election as could Newt Gingrich. The only real shot we have at losing this thing in November is Rick Santorum. Moreover the nation could easily survive four or eight years of Romney in the whitehouse; by way of contrast, after another four years of Obama starting next January, there would be no pieces left for anybody to try to pick up and put back together.
Total nonsense. Please make your case that Romney can a) win an national election, b) that we can survive Romney as President and c) make a case for Romney as president.
I think the only firm chance we have to win this thing is Santorum, with an outside chance by Gingrich. Romney is more of the same as compared to Obama, and Newt suffers from only getting back to a +5 favorability rating with those on the Right.
