Well for one thing he was the commander of the watchteam there....and his job in the neighborhood was to “watch”. He was doing so while on an errand.

Watch does not mean CONFRONT. And by his own admission Zimmerman left his car and on foot moved to confront. Right there he moved beyond what his job duties were to do

Prove Zimmerman confronted anyone? Actually available evidence indicates Zimmerman left his vehicle in response to Martin running, and lost him.

For Zimmerman this was not unusual to ask people why they were in the neighborhood....for that matter inquiry is not confronting someone in the way you’re presenting it.

I confront rather boldly my neighborhood teens when they get fisty... without hesitation. I ceertainly would have no problem with a Commander of a Watchgroup doing so...especially since many robberies were occurring in the neighborhood....and least you forget he phoned it in right away.

So? What’s your point? That didn’t give Martin the right to attack Zimmerman physically and crack his head open.
