A lot of people around here seem to have come to the conclusion that Martin started the fight, and that Zimmerman's actions were 100% unquestionably justified. I just think that's a bit premature to reach that, or any other, conclusion.

Even if it's absolutely proven Zimmerman started the fight, based on the evidence released to the public, he is still 100% unquestioningly justified.

Not necessarily, under Florida law. Florida law significantly restricts the ability to use deadly force for people who commit a forcible felony (which, if Zimmerman had started the fight, he may have been doing) or provoke the use of force against themselves.
