“They said a lot worse than that. Last night, one posted from a known communist radio show. Another linked to a
website where Keith Olbermann is the CEO”

The communist/marxist infiltration has become rather disgusting over the past couple of years, I’ve lessened my visitations. I don’t have time for their statist tendencies.

Hopefully someone took some quality pics of his injuries. Also there would be a medical report from the hospital that eventually treated him. In the meantime the LMM (Lynch Mob Media) will do its best to minimize any info that might sway sympathy towards G. Zimmerman.

The beginning of the end for the Trayvon Martin story? Hey, I can hope. . . .

____________________________________________________________

The liberal media has a lot invested in the story, it would be difficult for them now to abandon it and say they were wrong. Saying they were wrong is about the only thing that can save them from a terrible libel/slander suit. They may have already gone too far with altering the sallyport video and the 911 recording.

It is possible that the media will end up paying a lot of cash to Zimmerman but he will have to give it all to lawyers, the poor guys life is over, at least in his home community. There will always be someone waiting to kill him.

mag·is·trate [maj-uh-streyt, -strit] noun 1.a civil officer charged with the administration of the law. 2.a minor judicial officer, as a justice of the peace or the JUDGE of a police court, having jurisdiction to try minor criminal cases and to conduct preliminary examinations of persons charged with serious crimes. Zimmerman’s father, a former magistrate judge, http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/george-zimmerman-lost-job-party-security-guard-aggressive-ex-co-worker-article-1.1053223 Robert Zimmerman is a Vietnam vet, as well as a former judge from Fairfax, Virginia. Read more: http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpp/news/local/033012_Zimmerman%27s_father_defends_his_son#ixzz1qrHs6Sj7 I'll bet that his status as a former judge would appear on a police background check.

“Stand Your Ground” law???

Morgan is talking pure BS. Had nothing to do with that law.

The rest of the exchange is pretty close to what I had previously heard, multiple times. The father left our the expletive in his statement.

This is a real travesty. Zimmerman did nothing wrong. I am sad that Trayvon is dead, but he caused this. And he had a history of such stuff.

I'm not sure what your point was with that stream-of-consciousness rant, but my statement stands.

Someone stated that Zimmerman's father was a "judge", and that it was for this reason that Zimmerman "escaped punishment". The inference was that as a judge, Zimmerman's father held an office within the judicial system that included some power or esteem; this is an inaccurate depiction. A magistrate is not the same as a "judge" in Virginia, in the way the poster was relating.

Reciting a dictionary entry which has several definitions for magistrate, one of which is "JUDGE", as you so eloquently CAPSed at me, does not mean he was a "judge" as was inferred by the poster and was intended to convey a certain meaning.

I draw your attention to the Code of Virginia, § 19.2-37. Magistrates; eligibility for appointment; restrictions on activities:

B. Every person appointed as a magistrate on and after July 1, 2008, shall be required to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education. A person initially appointed as a magistrate prior to July 1, 2008, who continues in office without a break in service is not required to have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

So, you see, Magistrates in Virginia are not even required to have a law degree or be attorneys and, during the period Zimmerman's father was a magistrate were not required to have a degree at all.

Virginia law does indeed include "magistrates" within the definition of "judges" generally, however my point was that Zimmerman's father held a lesser position than what was being inferred - a position of no particular esteem or power within the judicial system, and certainly not a "judge" who would have some sway over another state's law enforcement system.

Magistrates, I could say, are a "dime a dozen" in Virginia. Accordingly, Zimmerman's father could not have had any undue influence on any prosecution of his son in Florida by virtue of his having been a magistrate in Virginia.

The characterization later in your post, Zimmerman’s father, a former magistrate judge, I take no issue with, as it specifies magistrate judge, and does not lead the reader to an erroneous conclusion.

Ya, the liberals have told us that, if Zimmerman’s nose had been broken, that blood would have been gushing all over.
********************************
I tripped and fell face-first on my floor about three months ago. Broke my glasses into three pieces AND broke my nose. ....No blood from the broken nose! ....I did have dark areas under both eyes a day later and they lasted for a couple of days.

From earlier postings about GZ, I read that he was treated by the EMTs at the scene and even required some stitches to the gash at the back of his head. .....Hopefully all evidence will be presented to a Grand Jury and he will be no-billed.

Sure. I am certain strings were pulled in this case as you assert. I can see the conversation now:

DETECTIVE: “Hey, this guy we took into custody for the shooting, his name is Zimmerman. He says his dad is a former magistrate.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Really? Zimmerman, you say?”

DETECTIVE: “Yeah.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: (Speaking to others) “Hey. Anyone here know this Zimmerman guy or his dad?”

ASSISTANT DA 1: “No.”

ASSISTANT DA 2: “Umm...no.”

ASSISTANT DA 3: “Who?”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Well, we gotta find out who this guy is. You, do a Google search on him. YOU, find out if he is important. We have to find out if this Zimmerman guy is one of ours...”

ASSISTANT DA 2: “What do we do if he is “one of ours”?”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “What, is this day one of your new job, or what? If he is “one of ours”, we can’t risk having him go down for this. Get the investigators on the case to scrub their story and make it more palatable so it won’t look like we are letting one of our buddies off. Talk to the EMTs, get their medical reports, and have them re-written.”

ASSISTANT DA 3: “Ummm, sir...the people there are saying guy is a no-count SOB who is reputed to be a rent-a-cop wannabe, pushing his agenda all over the condo association there...they say he shows up at meetings with a rottweiler and a gun! And there are witnesses all over...”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF AROUND HERE? I DON’T WANT ANY CHARGES FILED AGAINST THIS ZIMBERLAND GUY!”

ASSISTANT DA 1: “Sir, his name is ‘Zimmerman’, not ‘Zimberland’ and his dad is a famous magistrate up in Fairfax, Virginia. He is very well connected with the DC crowd.”

DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “See? What did I tell you. Come on, folks. The night is getting long. Get this thing scrubbed so we can release this guy.”

-- Do We know if there was a Funeral? If so Where and How many attended? --

There was a wake. I don't know how many attended, but Trayvon Martin's girlfriend did not attend, according to Crump.

Trayvon Martin Attorney Press Conference: Phone Logs Completely `Connect The Dots' | Mediaite (March 20th, 2012)

[Crump] further added that the friend, whose parents insist on her anonymity, has been deeply traumatized by the incident: "This was her really, really close personal friend. They were dating [...] She couldn't even go to his wake. She was so sick, her mother had to take her to the hospital, she spent the night in the hospital."
I haven't found a news account of a funeral or the wake.

The MSM will drop this story like a hot potato when they realize it doesn't support liberal elite hatred of conservatives.

I think they already have. I viewed this link last night, and had to go deep into the second page of FR to find it this morning.

Ed Shultz won’t report this, even if a gun was held to his head.Sharpton won’t say (expletive deleted)either.

Speaking of Sharpton,

Q - Why is Al Sharpton a Baptist minister instead of a Catholic?

A - Because it would be too difficult for him to say 'Superior' after the word 'Mother'.

Saying they were wrong is about the only thing that can save them from a terrible libel/slander suit.

NBC - by doctoring the tapes - might be libel for something - but the rest of them know how to dance around slander issues. Zimmerman's a public person.

MSNBC doesn’t have George Bush to kick around any more so there sole focus is propping up obama. It’s not about reporting the “news”.

What an idiot. I wonder how Santorum likes to be aligned with Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al.

Today, some retired NYPD cop on TV said that 98% of black victims are the result of black perpetrators. Why is black-on-black crime not newsworthy?
