My father drove in foreign countries. He had nerves of steel, back in the day ... except for teaching Russ and me to drive. He claimed that was scary.
Teaching kids to drive should merit the Medal of Honor, or at LEAST, whatever they bestow for hazardous duty! LOL

My grandsons were discussing the scariness quotient of a ride at Six Flags or Disney World or whatever. Daughter tried to pretend she didn’t know them when they stated, “ Now, MOM’s driving is *really*....”
