I never missed an episode of B5 while it was on. My 12 year old still plays the DVDs almost daily. Both were great shows.
Now, imagine if they built a full-sized Babylon Station in Las Vegas. Or even a B5 styled hotel.
I’d gladly go to a B5 styled place.
The DVDs are around here but aren’t watched hardly. Every now and then Youtube recommends a clip or two and I watch them.
I’ve met most of the B5er’s at different Dragoncons except for Sheridan and Sinclair. They all seemed genuinely gracious for the fanbase that showed up. Peter Jurasik (my favorite alien) overheard us one time saying that we had gotten married a few weeks before. He gave us an autograph.
For the few years we went after that and he was there, he called us “the married kids”.
There weren’t any B5s around at the last dragoncon. Even Claudia Christian was a mainstay for a while. She was always so great to hang around.
She was one of the first autographs at a con I ever got. The line for her was so long that year when we got a couple people away she needed to take a break to rest her hand and get a drink. It was hot in there. When she came back, she was so apologetic to me and my wife. It wasn’t necessary. She stood up and gave me a hug. I have a the old film photo stored somewhere. I look silly.
