For years and years and years I've mentioned from time to time my own personal SS experience ~ AS THEIR DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBOR in an apartment building overlooking the Iwo Jima memorial.
They had parties ~ I was always invited BECAUSE, as it turned out, I lived downstairs.
I always got the feeling folks didn't really believe that ~ yet there they are in Columbia having a regular PAR TAY just like they used to have.
Met John Dean's wife at one of them! That tale G. Gordon told about what he thought they were sent to get at Watergate? Sounds reasonable to me.
BTW, all the gals at those parties wore that "I'm not really a waitress" lipstick.
As I always say, there’s something about this color that can go from picking out an eggplant at the local supermarket, to parties with Secret Service men in Colombia, without missing a beat. :-)
