There have been very loud disagreements before. This isn’t new. What you’re seeing is fear. Some are nearly hysterical. And it’s only April. The fear is being stoked by the press and the elites. I don’t have TV. More FReepers should turn theirs off. AND the radio. Stop buying the newspaper. I refuse to pay the MSM for propaganda and fear.

You're right about fear and knee jerk, emotional reactions to Jim's clear and clarion messages. He said little new that he hasn't said repeatedly for years. He merely added more and recent examples of Romney's treachery.

You're also right about TV News and radio. FReepers would be better served reading FR. I do. I have stopped watching Fox and all but stopped listening to Rush. (I occasionally hear his show from the kitchen where DrO listens). I am much happier and much better informed.

These are indeed some trying times.

Passions and strong disagreements sometimes bring out the worst in people.

It pains me though at this time to see it happen here though, if we don't pull together now I don't think we'll have a chance to do it again.

Here I am a voice in the wilderness and I agree with you Onyx. I haven’t watch Fox in along time. I get all my news from right here at FR.

This is what I don't understand. I lurked here for three years, and I'm very well aware of Jim's longstanding opinion of Romney. It was made clear long ago. So what did these folks expect? That he would do a 180 and suddenly begin to support Romney, putting the lie to everything he's said in the past? Really??

Same here, Onyx. I haven't listened to Rush in a couple of weeks, and if Romney becomes the nominee, I won't be listening to much talk radio at all until the election is over. It isn't that I don't love Rush and Mark Levin. But they will have to get behind Romney and push him, for reasons I understand, and it really won't be pleasant to hear.
