Same here. (and rightly so).
I look at it like this. When you see someone about to get hit by a truck, you make the attempt to save them from certain disaster. Having strong opinions is part and parcel of who we are.
It seems totally crazy to not make the best effort possible to save that person from a possibly life altering mistake. Are I/me/we wrong to do so? Opinions vary. But to me I can’t in good conscience try to stop a disaster in whatever way I can.
