I've answered you.

No. You haven't. You posted some fairy tale with not a fact in sight.

he appointed liberal judges while Governor of a State that has a communist legislature

More fairy tales. And you believe them over facts.

As we did with Bush in the Harriet Meyers debacle, we have a shot of doing the same with Romney on a national level

Tell me what in Romneys history makes you believe this. Give me an action and fact, not a fantasy.

Per DJMACWOW:
Can you think for yourself? Do facts ever matter to you?
Why get personal?

You don't know me or what I've done these past 40 years for the cause. I've given you facts as well. We have a different opinion. Why take a personal shot? Are you saying that Robert Bork, Marco Rubio Ted Nugent and so many other Conservatives that have come to the same conclusion as me lack intelect or the ability to think? We disagree on strategy. I respect your line in the sand approach. I just think its wrong in this election. By offering up those names, its to show you that I am in good conservative company in reaching that descision. It by no means implies that I blindly follow them and lack a caacity to think for myself.

You are encouraging people to accept Romney just because you have been influenced by famous names.

Are you saying that Robert Bork, Marco Rubio Ted Nugent and so many other Conservatives that have come to the same conclusion as me lack intelect or the ability to think?

And do it AGAIN. By offering up these "names" you are trying to influence others with fame. "See? These famous people disagree with you. You MUST be wrong!"

Romney is NOT conservative nor a Republican. List ONE conservative thing he has EVER done.

AGAIN, Romney is the WORST possible choice and he does not have the nomination. He can STILL be stopped.

The way I look at it, I'll do my part to get anyone but Romney nominated.

But if he wins, realistically we'll have three choices -

1) vote for Obama
2) vote for Willard
3) bark at the moon while 1 or 2 are elected

Very unattractive alternatives. 1 is totally out of the question but I don't see why anyone who chooses option 2 or 3 is more cuplable than the other.

I find it a bit sad, this year would be my first Presidential election to vote in. But if its going down the road it is, I don’t see it worth my time to even bother voting.

It is vitally important to vote for the most conservative candidates in local, state and federal offices. It could mean all the difference in the world.

As did I in my State's primary. Do the same. However, come November, If its Romney vs Obama, I do see a difference between #2 and #3. There is plenty of information on the Internet in support of this proposition. Do your own research and vote accordingly. However, I think it comes down to who can we influence more? Who do we have a SHOT at influencing more?

By no means settle on any one source of info, but this left wing rag (according to some here because they dispense non-anti romney literature) - http://www.redcounty.com/content/why-conservatives-should-support-mitt-romney

I already voted Santorum in the primary.

I'm not going to rip someone for voting against Romney in the general, but I'm not a 'sheep' for choosing to make that decision. Eric Holder, Cass Sunstein, Kathleen Sebelius, and SCOTUS need to be fired.

This thread is about stopping Romney from being the nominee and to stop broadcasting to the party elite that they control our choices.

Hey Mister DJ, Here's another irrational Fake Conservative person that seems to be espousing my point in an article published on RedState today (I know, they're a left wing rag, right?) - only much better said:

So...You Don’t Want To Vote For Romney?

By Rachel Bjorklund (Scribe) on April 17th, 2012

Patriots, it’s pretty inevitable at this point that the GOP will nominate a RINO for president. We’re stuck with the cards in our hand.

I understand the temptation to sit out the election or split off and create our own party. I get it. I really do. But the reality is, if we do that BEFORE November 2012, Obama will win. If we go “all or nothing,” we’ll end up with nothing. That’s the ugly truth. Allowing this man to win a second term is NOT AN OPTION. The future of our Republic is literally at stake!

I know that it’s not much of a choice between Obama and a “progressive” Republican. But there is one crucial difference: Romney can more easily be held accountable by the Tea Party. We have the power to split his party. Obama suffers no such threat from his party, and has no reason to even pretend to pander to Tea Partiers. In fact, he has greater motivation to declare outright war on us.

Romney may not be a conservative, but he’s no dictator, either. I’d rather put up with a pandering flip-flopper than be faced with a hard-core, dedicated Marxist finally unleashed.

If you’re planning on sitting out or doing a write-in in 2012 because you can’t have the candidate you want, just imagine what an Obama second term will look like: more “flexibility” since he’s no longer accountable to the voters, the last vestiges of our constitution swept away, a president ruling by executive order while running roughshod over congress, and the appointment of two more radical supreme court justices who will do everything in their power to rewrite and destroy the constitution for decades to come.

So we have to decide, which is the best strategy for the Tea Party from here on out? Trying to hold a RINO’s feet to the fire in the White House? Or trying to keep a wannabe dictator in check for the next four years?

The most important thing right now is to take back the senate and send a strong conservative majority to congress. We need a legislative branch that is willing and able to stop the out-of-control spending and hold the executive branch in check. Then all that will matter about the White House is who holds the veto pen, the power to appoint judges, and the position of commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

Don’t throw the towel in yet. It took 30 years for the communists to take over the Democrat party. The Tea Party has made amazing headway in only three years (as 2010 proved), given that most of us had never been involved in politics in our lives. We’ve been very successful in taking over the GOP leadership at the local level, and in some places even state level.

It’s going to take at least another election cycle before we can succeed in taking over the GOP at the national level. And it’s going to take a lot more patriots willing to get off the bench, register as PCP’s, rise within the ranks of the GOP, and run for office. We may have to settle for a place holder candidate this time around, but if we play our cards right, it will be the LAST time!

I know too much about Romney to be swayed. I'm sorry that that's not true for you.

The owner of this site has stated that no one is to campaign for liberal Romney on his site. Respect that.

This thread is about stopping Romney from being the nominee. You have totally ignored that.

I'm not campaigning for romney. I'm campaigning against Obama. However, I can see how that distinction may be lost and I was not aware that Mr. Robinson had issued that directive. I totally respect him and this site. I just was trying to have a free exchange of ideas among fellow conservatives. After all we can all agree that we want Obama out. However, in order to avoid any further confusion or violate this directive, I'll stop posting on this issue.

This thread is about stopping Romney from being the nominee. You have done nothing but whitewash Romney.

However, in order to avoid any further confusion or violate this directive, I'll stop posting on this issue.

Thanks.

“This thread is about stopping Romney from being the nominee.”

Again, sorry about that. You may want to change the name of your thread. When I read it, “Conservative Choices or Republican Sheep?”, I thought it was an open discussion on Conservative choices, not limited to just stopping Romney. Changing the title might avoid confusion.
